Todd Bowles told ESPN’s Josina Anderson that he will become the 18th head coach of the New York Jets. He will be signing a four-year deal.
Bowles had been the defensive coordinator of the Arizona Cardinals for the past two seasons. This season the Cards defense was 8th in defense, 3rd in passing yards allowed, and 12th in rushing yards allowed.
Now that the Jets job has been taken only five head coaching vacancies remain. They are Denver, San Francisco, Oakland, Atlanta, and Chicago.
