For the second time in the last three weeks a PGA Tour event came down playoff holes. This time James Hahn was able to defeat Dustin Johnson and Paul Casey to win the 2015 Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club. This was his first Tour victory. He was able to make a putt on the third playoff hole to get the W.

Retief Goosen led after three rounds but crumbled on the last 18 holes. He shot 75 in the final round. He is still winless in the last six seasons.

Sergio Garcia went bogey, bogey on 17 and 18 to miss the playoff by one shot.

One of my favorite tournaments on the PGA Tour is the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. The course is beautiful and quite challenging.

Dustin Johnson returns to the PGA Tour after taking the last five months off because he wanted to seek professional help for personal challenges. He has won at least one event each year since 2008. You may expect him to come out hot but he may some rust to knock off.
