For the second time in the last three weeks a PGA Tour event came down playoff holes. This time James Hahn was able to defeat Dustin Johnson and Paul Casey to win the 2015 Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club. This was his first Tour victory. He was able to make a putt on the third playoff hole to get the W.

Retief Goosen led after three rounds but crumbled on the last 18 holes. He shot 75 in the final round. He is still winless in the last six seasons.

Sergio Garcia went bogey, bogey on 17 and 18 to miss the playoff by one shot.

The Farmers Insurance Open was nothing but exciting to the last stroke of the tournament.

It came down to the second playoff hole where Jason Day was able to par the 16th to clinch to the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines.

With the win he is now ranked fourth in the world. This was he fourth PGA Tour victory.

You can view next weeks AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am here.

Day and Holmes were able to salvage birdie to force the second playoff and eliminate Scott Stallings and Harris English.

Jason Day nearly put his third shot on the par 5 18th in the drink. He was able to get up and down to shoot a 70.

Holmes couldn’t make his birdie putt on 18 to clinch the tourney.

The PGA Tour returns to three of the most beautiful courses on the tour as they travel to Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill, and Monterey Peninsula CC.

Last season, Jimmy Walker nearly squandered a six-stroke lead in the final round. He was able to scramble and make par on the par-5 18th hole of Pebble Beach.

“I made it a little more dramatic than it needed to be,” Walker said.

One of my favorite tournaments on the PGA Tour is the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. The course is beautiful and quite challenging.

Dustin Johnson returns to the PGA Tour after taking the last five months off because he wanted to seek professional help for personal challenges. He has won at least one event each year since 2008. You may expect him to come out hot but he may some rust to knock off.
