Trent Richardson will not suit up for the Indianapolis Colts divisional round playoff game against the Denver Broncos. He will be a healthy inactive player.
Last week, Richardson played only one snap.
So, is it time to label Richardson a bust? Typically, when young athletes go to the University of Alabama they expect to have a great career. As a member of the “Roll Tide” he had over 3,700 total yards. He was so good that the Cleveland Browns drafted him third overall in 2012. (Go figure)
In 17 games with the Browns, he rushed for 1,055 before being traded to the Indianapolis Colts.
As a Colt, he rushed for a lackluster 977 yards in the past two seasons. His career average is 3.3 yards per rush.
Hopefully, he gets a chance with another team next year, but as of now the future for Trent Richardson seems very unsuccessful.
